offers undergraduate degrees in tourism management and post-graduate sustainable-tourism research opportunities. The tourism degree program is based out of this  regional Australian university’s Noosa campus on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The George Washington University, Washington, DC Offers a Master of Tourism Administration Program along with undergraduate and distance-learning programs covering sustainable destination development. The associated  International Institute for Tourism Studies augments the program and performs research.

Griffith University (Queensland), International Centre for Ecotourism Research Runs one of the world’s most in-depth research programs on ecotourism—its environmental and cultural impacts, economic policies, and green behavior guidelines.

Journal of Sustainable Tourism Brief overviews of journal contents and information on ordering. You can download full articles for a fee.

Leeds Metropolitan University (U.K.) Masters and PhD in Responsible Tourism Management at the School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality.

Missouri State University Offers the first U.S. baccalaureate in geotourism (based on geographical character, including culture, ecology, history, geology, tourism economics, etc.)

Sierra Nevada College, CA, USA offers a Special Topics course in geotourism.
